Ramadan in Oz
I know Ramadan's almost ending, but ive just been very tied up with work bla bla...only 6 days to go now! Which also means - only 6 more sleeps till BALIK KAMPUNG!! Woohooo!!! I SOO can't wait...JB murtabak, ais kacang, REAL milo ais, REAL roti canai, raya cookies, rendang, ketupat, BOM Brazil, sizzling yeemee, meat, meat and more meat, no seafood & vegies please! Of course, seeing & spending time with my parents, brothers, sisters, nephews & nieces, relos and friends...i don't think 2 weeks' gonna be enuff...too much to eat, lots of catching up to do! So, 1st Ramadan in Australia...Pretty good actually. Missing the Pasar Ramadan of course...so gotta cook when we get home from work...No kuih muih or different kinds of soya & colored drinks to choose from...:( Breaky time here is about 6.00pm, so that's ok but sahur's like 3.30 cos Subuh's at 4.00am..SO EARLY man! Working days are fine cos by the time we finished work, it's breaky time ...
