Lil Miss Squeeky
OK, so she's not walking or talking yet but yes, it's been so long! AGAIN! :p I was so sure that i'll have more time to blog when im here but i blame it on having the one computer that Michael's always on and a squeaking lil one that i can't keep away from for too long! Aha, im blaming everyone except for my lazy self!
Here's what Ayisha's been up to:
- she's giggling everyday, talking her baby talk every hour and smiling every other minute
- she did her visa run to Krabi and she was the centre of attention yet again everywhere we go
- she loves the night life i think, cos when she's out and about in her stroller, with bright lights and people walking around especially in Krabi, she'd scream excitedly by herself (no funny faces involved)
- she's as long as a pillow now
- she started blowing bubbles and putting her feet in her mouth few weeks ago but that's so old news now. When Michael blows bubbles to her now, she'd just stare back boringly
- she's rolling over from tummy, back, left, right, centre and all around
- somehow, she stopped sleeping thru from 10am - 10pm..she's up for a feed around 4 or 5am and then back to sleep till 10 or 11, which i think is still fine by me!
- She sleeps & settles to the tune of the song Tomorrow from Annie that i've been singing to her when she's a few weeks old. If she gets a bit cranky especially in the car and on the plane...i'll go "The sun will come up! Tomorrow! BET your bottom dollar..." The louder she squeaks, the louder i get and she's good again or ends up sleeping
- she gets mistaken for a boy A LOT even with pinky clothes and socks on!
- she said 'maa..ah' only at night when she's up for feeding. i think she wanted to say MAKAN cos that's what i say when feeding her or i think mothers are called mum, ma, mama etc cos that's what babies say first. whatever it is, it made me feel good cos she said that first instead of 'da..ah'. hehehe
-in the morning, she'll do big loud pushes that sometimes wake herself up..it's so huge she'd even lift her butt a bit to let em out!
There's so much going on and a lot of stuff happening but overall, everything's been pretty good with us. Christmas is coming soon and everything here is getting more christmassy but not enough chocolates i think :p I know it won't be the same as back in Oz but i think IKEA is selling real xmas trees and Victoria Station is selling baked turkey for xmas so we might just do that, just so Michael won't feel too homesick (and me as well lah) and that Ayisha will not miss her first Christmas.
Oh, also, today's our Oz wedding Anniversary! It's my turn so we're going out, but not too long cos someone's gotta work :p
Here's the lil one getting bigger everyday...
