Ayisha's Eid Celebration
Last Eid, she was only this small.
With her all walking and wanting to do things by herself, i noticed sometimes she gets a lil bit extra clingy too. It's like a love-hate situation . One moment she wants me away from her while shaking her head and hand saying 'no' to me. Another moment she'd want me and me only. She doesn't really want anyone else taking her unless if you're at the door with car keys. She keeps carrying her shoes around up the 6 stairs to the front door and ready to go 'jalan-jalan' if we stay too long indoors doing nothing.
So on the days we're not busy going out, i kept her occupied with housework. She's been helping around the house a lot - mopping, wiping the tables, dusting, hanging up the washing, doing the dishes and putting away her toys after playing with them.
Other times, she'd be busy bothering my youngest sister, Cik Limah whom she's gotten really close to. Cik Limah sleeps in the room next to us. So Ayisha would peek into her room and try wake her up every morning. She'd steal all the teddy bears from Cik Limah's room and put them in our room and she'd keep looking for other interesting stuff around the room especially food cos Cik Limah's got lots of em :p So yeah, besides me & Michael, Cik Limah would be the next person she'd happily go to.
Busybody in Cik Limah's room
She also learns how to pose for pictures now. I think she learns this from Cik Limah. When you say 'cheese' to her with a camera, she'll bend her knees and lean to the right a lil bit and stay still and pose. That was just the cutest!
Today we left JB and now we're back in KL. But we're here for just a short while then we're gonna be busy with Michael's best friend's wedding in KL then Langkawi then we're joining some friends to Sabah & Sarawak and then back to JB before moving to Bali end of October.
Saying goodbye to cousins in JB
Im gonna try my best this week to catch up with as many friends & relos in KL cos we're not sure if we'll get to squeeze a stopover before going back to JB for the big move to Bali. Michael's going to be busy the whole week with best man duties so it'd just be me & Ayisha out & about around KL celebrating Eid!
Maaf Zahir Batin all...
This year, she's all walking and chatting and happily joining in the fun with her many cousins, aunties, uncles and grannies! ;)
