Ayisha's Chocolatey Easter
As excited as I was with my first chocolate egg few years ago, so was Ayisha, experiencing her first Easter in Oz.
Before this, the only chocolate egg she's ever known is the ones we've been having at Johor Malay weddings - the telur pindang (brown coloured, spiced flavoured egg) She called them chocolate eggs and she loves them! Now she knows of another yummy version of a chocolate egg, that comes in small, medium & big sizes.
Few days leading up to Easter everyone around her was asking & telling her about the easter bunny, easter eggs, easter hunt, easter shows etc. So it's no surprise when she woke up an hour earlier than normal and the first thing that came out of her mouth was 'Easter bunny here? Easter eggs on the grass for me? Easter hunt?', with one eye still half shut.
Michael woke up earlier than usual as well to set up a trail for her 1st easter hunt. I left it all up to him because he was the super excited one to have Ayisha experience the anticipation & excitement that he remembered whilst growing up. Plus, I have no idea what & how it's supposed to be done lah.
So it started right from the bedroom door...
